  • About "Le terreur Alert"
This meter is designed to display the current terror alert on h4X0rs, or more known as script kiddies. This idea was brought to us when we were attacked by cheap raiders on July 21st, 2005. Since then, the already good security has been increased even more and we are always improving it. This meter is more meant to be humorous then accurate, but we try to actually update it according to any activity such as if there are reports of hackers, or threats directly sent to us, etc.

The following explains what each level means, in very general terms:

    Severe
Chances are we'll be attacked, which means chances are we are prepared and security may be overboard. Some members may experience difficulty accessing the site, this is temporary and we try to avoid access issues as much as possible. New registrations may also not go through correctly at this level, but try anyway.

    High
There are some recorded threats directly addressed to us about a possible attack. Hold on tight, this should be fun. Access may be a bit tricky but not too bad.

    Elevated
There are general online threats around that could mean we are attacked, but not exactly a targeted to us. (ex: hammering worm, large php exploit, etc).

    Guarded
Pretty quiet, but not 100% safe, just a few suspicious looks here and there. Oh, hi.

    Low
Pfft, this is boring. *removes all security to ease load on server*
