Is anyone watching the Olympics? I don't have cable so I can only see the NBC coverage. I'm interested in seeing if Michael Phelps wins eight gold medals. I'm guessing he'll get five or six.

Phelps just won his eighth gold medal, and seven of them were in world record times.

I just saw the new world record being set in the 100 meter race. How can anyone run that in just 9.69 seconds?

Yeah, and in a matter of several years, maybe he'll be stripped of the medal and record when it's revealed that he was doping, just like that one chick from 2000 or 2004... forget which year.

I dunno, after looking through this gallery I'm starting to think he is a genetically modified mutant of some sort.

It saddens me that some athletes are STILL stupid enough to do steroids (if this is the case - just speaking in general here). They check for this all the time now. Doing drugs to win is a sign one is not man enough to handle a loss.

Yes, here's another vote for 'mutant'.
