I would hotlink the obligatory black lung, but someone would probably replace it with gay squirrel porn.

Hmm wonder how gay squirrel porn would look like.

The titles could be interesting such as "2 squirrels 1 nut".

its called 'sin' tax. Voluntary tax. Come live up north where the cigarette tax totals to have one pack of cigarettes = $9 - $12.00 (one pack)

fortunately Native reserves sell cigarettes for $9.00 a carton. (200 cigarettes)

Yeah, fortunately the reserves sell it for cheap. If you're going to keep yourself enslaved to a substance, you may as well waste less money on it than otherwise.

fortunately being enslaved to a substance is a choice we have freedom in choosing. unfortunately, the government has decided to persecute those that live lifestyles that the majority does not approve of. whether it be a smoker, marijuana user, gun owners, or homosexuals.

in the very least, they should add a "pop" tax to pop music. this will go to fund psychotherapy for it's fans.

i think new hampshire said it best when they simply said "live free or die".

I think "persecute" is an overly strong word to use here, but shouldn't communities generally be able to create and uphold standards, and encourage (or discourage) things in-line with majority opinion?

Little catchphrases like "live free or die" don't actually have any real substance behind them, but they might sound good. Even "give me liberty or give me death" is a ridiculous statement.

I certainly think so. Otherwise, you might have an x-rated movie theatre on every corner.
